MARTÍN BERASATEGUI,
SENTTIX AMBASSADOR
He presents his healthiest recipe to achieve
“The True Sleep.”
According to the WHO, there are three fundamental pillars for a healthy life and physical and emotional well-being.
The food we eat affects our rest. At night it is recommended to eat foods rich in tryptophan that generate melatonin, the sleep hormone, and serotonin, the hormone of happiness and well-being.
Doing daily physical exercise is not only good for our body, but also for our mind. It disconnects us from daily stress and removes us from any anxieties. Of course, it is always better to finish at least two hours before going to sleep.
To achieve this, respect the circadian cycles of light and dark, monitor the temperature and the order of the room, remove any screens and establish a sleep routine, always being faithful to the same schedule.
Sleeping well is vital to achieving our goals on a daily basis. Be assured that, upon waking up, we will not only feel better rested, but we will also feel better in general, with more positivity and energy.
The True Sleep improves memory, productivity and performance, it heightens decision-making and learning, makes you happier, maintains your good memories, and improves your imagination.
A good quality sleep improves muscle relaxation, helps brain restoration, strengthens the immune system, provides a better physical appearance and favours a good emotional and mental state.
Although perhaps the most important benefit is one that was confirmed a few years ago in the journal Science: when we sleep, we cleanse our brain of toxic substances accumulated during the day, toxic deposits that are related to different neurodegenerative conditions.
Natural means sleeping on products made with innocuous materials and manufacturing processes, without the presence of components that are harmful or damaging to our health or to our ecosystem.
A natural rest is one that uses natural materials that allow the skin to breathe, that avoid any irritations and lower the risk of skin problems. In addition, the pleasant touch of nature aids the skin in releasing oxytocin, the hormone of love and pleasure.
Are there foods that help us fall asleep? What factors influence the way we rest? The True Sleep goes beyond just sleep. That’s why we’ve created a recipe book together with Martín Berasategui, designed to answer the most important question: how can I rest more and sleep better?
